Privacy, retention and customers' data
How long data is kept, and exporting or deleting a customer's data.
Settings → Privacy and retention sets how long closed conversations and voice notes are kept. Deletion runs automatically every night.
When a customer asks for their data, open one of their conversations and use Customer data: download everything about them as a file, or delete everything about them. Both are recorded in your audit log.
Before any text is sent to an AI service outside Ethiopia, phone numbers, email addresses, long account and card numbers and the customer's name are replaced with placeholders.
Deleted data is removed from live systems immediately and from backups within 35 days.
